An updated “FAQ” in response to the 8/30/08 Knoxville News-Sentinel article (and no doubt the Arrowmont statement made yesterday) has been posted on the Pi Beta Phi website

THis is just a regurgitation of the article and spinning it like the 3 people speaking in the article are the city leaders. The FAQs conveniently do not mention any of the other articles written -not the opposition from all quarters. Pi Phis in the know NEED to spread this news to chapters and alum clubs – anyone relying on information from the Pi Phi web site will be mislead by council. Council is passing this off as regional dissent from a vocal minority – those of us who know the facts NEED to get them out to the other Pi Phis. INcluding the fact that they worte alums andthen told them not o share the information with the collegians…In my discussions I am horrified at how many people do not know this is going on. (All part of council’s plan – no doubt.)
