These monies go into the Foundation first and then are passed on to Arrowmont. Where ever it came from, thanks to the late generous donor and good luck to Arrowmont. Then maybe we can resume our support of Arrowmont and get rid of our current ineffective philanthropy which the current leadership supported to the tune of about a million dollars, and, even worse, requires the collegians to support as well. The last I checked they were taking advertising from Disney. That is a non-profit? Long live Arrowmont, our real philanthropy. I first learned of the Arrowmont School in the late '60's when I first came to the Mountains. The sadness of this circumstance is very deep.
